We are distributing food parcels to malnourished families all over the Gaza Strip. Families can't work, there are no jobs, and aid is still being restricted at the border. Our mission, during times like this is, is to provide emergency food parcels and hot meals to displacement camps.
Our mobile medical clinic visits various displacment camps in the central areas of the Gaza strip. Our staff visit the refugee camps of Deir Al Balah and Al-Nuseirat to treat minor injuries and prescribe general medicine to those in tents who can't afford to visit their doctors or to visit hospitals.
The TEAC schools in Gaza will host students of all ages to bring back education to those who continue their education or those who want to learn new skills and further their training. Nearly all schools have been destroyed in Gaza so we must empower those to rebuild, on their terms.
We deliver over 50,000 litres of de-salinated, potable water most weeks to the Al-Mawasi and central camps in Gaza. On occasion we send more to central Gaza depending on need and donations. WE aim to start building wells once equipment can enter the strip from the Raffa crossing.
The Empowerment and Aid Collective is a Palestinian Led - Irish Backed NGO based in Ireland. We setup in response to the Genocide and Nakba inflicted on Palestinians in both Gaza and the west bank. TEAC began operating as The Emergency Appeals Collective, fundraising for families to evacuate accross the Raffa border to Egypt, and then raising money for those affected by famine and water shortages. We began very small, with barely any followers or little or no idea where it would lead, but we are so grateful and humbled by where it has led us to today.
We delivered over 200 water trucks this year to Gaza.
